What is Wi-Fi?

The word "Wi-Fi" was created by the Wi-Fi Alliance, which certifies wireless networking products to ensure interoperability, to describe wireless networking products in order to promote the use of these devices.

What are Wi-Fi Hotspots?

Wi-Fi Hotspots are wireless networks similar to those found in homes and businesses; however, hotspots are typically unencrypted and are intended for use by the public. They provide wireless Internet access within public areas, such as cafés, airports, libraries, and hotels, enabling people to keep up-to-date with their digital world when away from home or work.

Hotspot users can connect to hotspots from mobile computers, such laptops and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), to do such tasks as browse the Internet and send and receive e-mail.

What are FBOs?

Fixed-Base Operators (FBOs) are suppliers of fuel, maintenance, and more for the general aviation community, located at airports throughout the United States.
